The School Concerts took place without a break from 1941 to 1966. However, in 1956 and 1961 the event took a different form due to
the choir performing instead at The National Eisteddfod and The Urdd National Eisteddfod concerts respectively.
Both Eisteddfodau took place in Aberdare Park.
