A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Souvenir Album, 1905

This remarkably well-preserved souvenir album surfaced in the School Archives. It is a bound booklet created by the firm of J. Lendon Berry, photographers of Aberdare. Considering the date of the booklet, the photographer was almost certainly Richard Lewis Berry, son of the firm’s founder.
The album consists of thirteen cards bound together loosely by a knotted cord. The album dimensions are 18.5cm x 10.5cm x 1.5cm. Each glossy card is approximately 1mm thick, onto which is hand-mounted a photograph measuring 13.8cm x 9.7cm.
