The playing field
Two pictures of the playing field looking North-East approximately. Houses to the left are along the lower end of Bridge Street. The large tree in the first picture, a poplar, may have grown from the sapling which is evident on the old sports day photos from 1963. The second picture shows the shed in the opposite corner of the field. These two pictures overlap at the point where the pylon is visible on the horizon.
