These photographs were taken from near the top of Broniestyn Terrace where
the school wall curved sharply around at the top of the playground. Part of
the remaining playground wall is seen on the right. The gap in the wall is
where the toilets known as the dubs used to be.
(The term ‘dubs’ is an oral abbreviation of W.C.)
