Miss Mary Benjamin Williams was born in Newport, 1899, and educated in Aberystwyth. She was appointed in 1928 and stayed until 1938.
She taught Music & Drawing at the school - in spite of being a graduate in other subjects.

Miss Mari Howells was a peripatetic music tutor, and violin player in local orchestras.
Born Mary Elizabeth Howells, she was the daughter of ‘Professor’ Richard Howells of Dan-yr-Allt, Abernant Road.
Mari died on November 21, 1974, aged 74
