The Trophy Cabinet.
The large shield was presented by the Llewellyns of Bwllfa in 1910–11.
The banner on the shield is inscribed “Aberdare Intermediate School,” and below that “Girls Gymnastic Competition”
The Birmingham Hallmark date letter " l " indicates 1910–11, and the maker mark is Deykin & Harrison.
The shield is one of a pair; the other, not shown here, being for boys’ sports.
