This action is thought to have taken place at the Glamorgan Secondary Schools Championships in 1946. The Aberdare team, on the right, is in amber tops and black shorts.

Gwilym Howells (ABGS: 1941-48) is in the process of passing the baton to Lyndon Harries (ABGS: 1941-47).

Lyndon believes that the championships were held at Bridgend in that year.
