There are two Honours Boards that are partially visible in the background to this
photograph. We know from another photograph of the Main Hall that there was at least
a third board, headed ‘Winners of Entrance Scholarships at Universities’. However,
in the early days this was at the other end of the Hall, the Trecynon end. Whether any
of these boards were the ones in place in the final days of the Trecynon building is
unknown. The names listed below may have been internal School Prizes for lower Forms,
or for achievements in the final year at school.
