Groundworks for the New School on Cwmdare Road

Stavertons Board

This is one of the first things we saw to tell us the builders were about to start
on the new building which had been promised for so long. The wording on the board:

Drainage Ditch

Huge amounts of soil were moved to make way for the school building. The Merthyr mountain is in the background.
