Construction of the Annex at the Cwmdare Road School, 1966

In January 1967 over 50 exiled pupils from the ex-Mountain Ash Grammar School were
to transfer at Aberdare Grammar School.
This building was probably necessary to help provide the necessary extra accommodation.
Materials arrive for building the Annex. The building in the background is The Further
Education College,
later called Coleg Morgannwg, Aberdare campus, and since August 1st 2013
Coleg y Cymoedd (Aberdare Campus).
Building is now underway, with EYP 203C stubbornly holding onto his parking space.
