These five boys were casualties in WW2:

David John Bowen worked at Bletchley Park and then on a project involving the development of radar. He enlisted into the RAFVR and served in Italy as a Leading Aircraftsman, but was invalided home. At the age of 25, in October 1945, he died of cancer at Church Village hospital, which was then a military hospital.

Stanley George Brockway was a Flight Sergeant in the RAF. He died aged 24 on 13th November 1943. He is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.

Thomas Brinley Lovell was a sapper in the Royal Engineers, 11 Field Coy.  He died aged 23 on 4th September 1944.  He is buried in Clabecq Communal Cemetery, Belgium.

Ronald Price was a Flight Sergeant in the RAF. He died aged 21 on 29th December 1944. He is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial.

David Williams was a Pilot Officer (Flight Engineer) in the RAF. He died aged 22 on 31st July 1943.  He was buried in the Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany near the Netherlands border.

 

Notes

The first two boys on the list entered the school in January 1932. All of the others enrolled in September 1932.
