We understand that after a career in the police force, Tony became the Community Safety Officer for the Rhondda Cynon Taff Borough Council. He was involved in a range of projects aimed at tackling persistent crime and disorder, as well as general safety that affected the quality of life of the people in the Borough.
Some of the projects were funded by the Welsh Assembly, and the unit was involved in a multi-agency approach that aimed to make the borough a safer place in which to live for the young and not so young. The unit was housed in a building on the Treforest Industrial Estate.
