This photograph is taken from almost exactly the same spot as the previous one; looking west from behind Ty Fry.
Notice that there is much more vegetation on the coal tip now (June 2005). The old railway line is present in both photographs.
In this picture it shows as a horizontal feature to the left middle of the image above the playground equipment.
The mountain in the haze is Cefn-y-gyngon behind Cwmdare.
The single storey building is St Margaret’s RC Primary School
