This lovely photo is of the very successful school athletics team of the late 1960s.
It was managed by the Sports Teacher, Christine Griffiths, who is pictured with her team on the far right.
The team swept the board at the Area qualifiers at Y Pant, and then again at Maerdy Stadium - the Glamorgan School Championships. All three relay teams won their events.
The senior relay team broke the record and equalled the second senior Welsh adult team.
Christine is very proud of them, and they deserve to look so happy!
