Verity, A. W. (1942) This book was used at school at some time in the 1940s, possibly for the School Certificate examination in English Literature( the School Certificate was superseded by the GCE O-level which was introduced in 1951). The book includes a Boys Grammar School stamp on the inside front cover. We've copied a few internal pages below, some of which have annotations written by the owner during his school days.
