This is the first edition of the magazine produced after the school became the Boys' Comprehensive. Included in this edition are the following: an assessment of the first year of the comprehensive school by the Headmaster, Mr. Noel Thomas, including the effect of the two fires at Rhydywaun School; an article by the ex-deputy headmaster Mr. P.E. Phillips; thoughts on the career of a geologist by Prof. Alec .J. Smith (an ex-pupil, 1942-1950); a report on the newly formed Schools' Film Society; a report from the pupil governor, as well as the usual reports from the sports teams and other societies.
