Aberdare Boys’ Grammar School

This is a photograph of a fifth form in 1919; they would have started school in 1915.
We believe that the boy on the far left in the front row is Peter E. Phillips, (PEP).
In the middle row on the extreme left is David Herbert Davies (later, Headmaster at Cwmdare), and Mr W.R. Williams (Maths & Science) on the far right.
In the back row on the extreme right is Luther James, (a teacher at the school 1943-59, and later, Headmaster at Abercynon Secondary School).
