The engine shed (86J) and extensive sidings stood at the bottom of Tudor Terrace and behind our school playing field. The shed housed a large turntable.

0-6-0 tank engine 9712 in front of the Great Western Hotel (now gone)	This is a special as we believe it was taken by Tom Evans, our geography teacher, who is still active in Aberdare today.
